Speaking of San Michele in Foro, I figured I should show you its exquisite exterior:
Supposedly the various decorative patterns on the columns acted as advertisements for the various silk patterns made in Lucca. Interesting as Lucca's currently renowned for its toilet paper and tissue industry.
